My FA30 class fieldtrip to Ilocos provinces - Part 1

Used as a fortress during the Philippine Revolution towards the end of the 19th century, he Santa Maria Church in Ilocos Sur, a massive barogue structure built in 1769, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Sta. Maria Church is very unique, particularly in relation to other churches in and around Vigan, as it sits imposingly on a hill overlooking the town instead of in its town square.
