(Video Expose') Debt Debate. Master Puppeteers & The TParty Connection: Who's Really Pulling The Strings In Washington?

Many conspiracy theories abound about the TeaParty. Some say they are just a front for the billionaire Koch brothers and other special interest groups hell-bent on pushing their selfish, sinister agenda, subversively.

Others say they are a bunch of racists who are beside themselves with rage at some 'Color' ensconced in the White House for the first time--a personal hatred of President Barrack Hussein Obama, with his 'different' sounding name-- being our first African American leader.

They however, claim to be a grass-root organisation born from mounting frustration, disappointment and anger at our growing unemployment; ballooning debt; expanding government; big bank bailout and corporate coddling while main street suffered, etc.

So which is it?

The dissatisfaction is quite lengthy and we have heard them shout on many occasions at rallies across the land, that they have vowed 'to take their country back." Back from whom I'm not quite sure.

Our last midterm election reflected that dissatisfaction and growing political power and clout, to the dismay of the Democrats. They were indeed taking somethings back...Democratically held seats.

Fast forward to the present contentious debt ceiling debate, the TeaParty backed candidates show just how much control they have on our political system--for they are credited with stalling the Capitol Hill machine by their unyielding staunch stand and the resulting deep partisan atmosphere corroding the halls of Congress and the House of Representatives.

The attached video is an espose'-- an in-depth journey into the heart of the Teaparty, peeling back the layers and peeking into the nooks and cranny to what lies underneath.

Good report, but I am going to comment on the spammers.

YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME, IDIOTS! The links aren't even live and no one reading the stroies here gives a crap about your cheap, crappy imitation Air Jordans. Go away.

I' so tired of all this crap following my articles but someone told me they weren't done by live people so responding to them is a waste of time and energy.

Then take action and flag the crap out of them... maybe we can get rid of them.

Hardy..I have been flagging the hell out of them to no avail..they keep cropping back up.

The article is reasonable based on the video; the video is completely out of touch. Anything that describes a wish for limited government and free markets as a "radical form of free market capitalism" is clearly biased; this video is heavily spun by an individual with a clear agenda, and one who had no basis in understanding what's going on.

The Tea Party has lots of support including from corporate America; no surprise there. The Democratic party also has lots of support from the rich and famous, considering that they receive, by far, the largest number of individual donations over $1 million.

Trying to brush the Tea Party movement off as something other than what it is, namely Americans who are fed up with the status quo and Congressional indifference, is a major mistake for the Democrats; I hope they buy into it because it will be their downfall in 2012.

Thanks for injecting some sanity into this debate Hardy - it was greatly needed.

I think the ones with the agendas are these tools of the puppeteers who are manipulating ordinary folks into thinking they are fighting for themselves. This blatant propaganda has been used before and it's a classic case of abuse and misuse for their own gain. It's borderline criminal and pathetic.

I support the Tea Party because I have a brain, not because of the lack thereof. I research every one of my positions, and there are a lot of others that do the same; all the conspiracy talk is nothing but spin. That's not saying there isn't the support that's reported, but merely that the Tea Party members aren't the twits you hear about in the liberal media.

Just so you know, though... I rated this article up...
As I said earlier, I'm hoping the Progressives keep laughing... it will cost them in the end... if they weren't scared of the Tea Party, they wouldn't be going to such lengths to discredit it and it's members.

Well. thank you....I know you have a brain Hardy and I'm sure there are many more intelligent folks in the Tparty---but that doesn't change the subversive element that is present underneath.

Hardy:
I have worked more than 40 years, some years making so much money that my FICA withdrawals stopped around October or November. Of course they fixed that. There is no way that I will ever get anywhere near the money I paid into Social Security. How dare the Tea Party and GOP want to steal the money I earned in good faith.
Reply By firesisle Hardy Wright | 10 months ago
Agreed; I've worked as long as you, under the same auspices... I've paid almost $40,000 in taxes a few times. Social Security should be available to all who pay into it at the same rate, and be untaxed. Thing is, all the cuts in the current package are back-loaded and we all know how that works out... the next Congress can change everything...

I agree Robert...Social Security is partly what hard working Americans have paid into--it is not a hand out so it's insulting and highly disingenuous of them to try to make it out to be 'entitlement.'

T=Why don't they fight this hard to take away the biggest entitlement of all--tax breaks for the rich?

the T party is a disaster. Fortunately they are not likely to be re-elected.
Reply By VeronicaRoberts Veronica Roberts | 9 months ago
If they were really a grass-root organisation fighting for country I would understand but it is not. That makes it dangerous.

With all the financial turmoil and uncertainty - haven't they been proven to be right? The country was teetering on the brink of financial ruin - wasn't it? That was their point - the politicians were spending us into oblivion.
