Ahmedabad, the Congress Party in Gujarat has started a big success. Gujarat's capital Gandhinagar, the first municipal elections on the Congress party has wonand bjp lost. This win is so important because here the veteran BJP leader LK Advani, MP. Congress party won 33 of the 18 seats while the BJP got 15 seats. No other party or independent candidate can not even open an account.

Gujarat Congress party's new chairman Arjuna brother Morvadia (Porbandar MLA) for good news, which led the first elections the party has achieved this success. Gandhinagar, former party president Pravin Patel, proved fatal for the BJP. Patel gave the BJP ticket, he contested on the Congress party ticket from Ward No. 4 with his two friends won. Interestingly, each ward is divided into three seats.

Currently occupied by the BJP in Gujarat on 6 municipal Corporeshnoan, while the Congress party has captured 2 Municipal Corporations. Gandhinagar Junagadh Municipal Corporation before the victory is near the Congress itself.

Gandhinagar traditionally municipal area is home to Congress, yet here is the assembly and Lok Sabha elections the BJP wins. The reason is that the municipal assembly or Lok Sabha constituency to come out of the area. Advani in Gandhinagar city corporation could not ever get much support. Gandhinagar district panchayat is also the control of Congress.
