The Easter "Eggsplosion" plans to be the biggest Easter Egg Hunt to be held in the state of Illinois on Saturday, April 23rd from 9 am to noon. The holiday festivities will be held at the Westfield - Louis Joliet Shopping Mall located at 3340 Mall Loop Drive in Joliet, IL.

The plan is for 20,000 eggs to be hidden within the mall for children to find. The Easter Egg Hunt will be separated into two separate sections according to age group. One section will be for children ages 0-5 while the other section will be for children 6-10. Children will have three hours to look around for hidden eggs.

Also on site will be an Easter Bunny, refreshments, and special prizes that will be given to children. The event for this eggs-travaganza is absolutely free of charge.
