How would you like to promote green health by moving from Sacramento to a 300-acre community in Costa Rica, Central America, that will eventually have as many as 100 large treehouses connected by ziplines--located in the canopy of Costa Rica's rain forest?
Would you like to join a green living community and move from Sacramento to Costa Rica's rainforest and live in a treehouse above the canopy for the purpose of promoting green health, green living, green technology and sustainability?
Check out the April 16, 2011 Sacramento Bee column by Bob Shallit, "Bob Shallit: Sacramento professional lands dream job: Living in a treehouse." That's what one Sacramento public relations professional and social media entrepreneur is doing.
The thirty-something Sacramentan found out about Finca Bellavista. From a marketing stance, he will be living in a guest treehouse and leading a promotional campaign. The community has great public relations connections as far as living green. The community was the setting for the entire American Eagle Outfitters clothing catalog that came out this week.
It is an opportunity for someone in green health and green living public relations interested in social media and architecture because the project promotes sustainability. That's where it's connected to green health--the emphasis on sustainability.
