82-year-old Hosni Mubarak, former Egyptian President, was admitted to a hospital. This happened on the day he was scheduled to be questioned over corruption and abuse of power during his 30 years in office.

Doctors at the hospital in Sharm-el-Sheikh were not allowed to comment on Mubarak´s physical condition. In the meantime, numerous people waited outside the building, demonstrating against their former leader.

On February 11, Mubarak had to resign after mass anti-government protests.
