Eight years after the defeat of , a photographer was allowed to enter the tomb of the Iraqi dictator. An unpublished photograph shown by Iraqi TV Al Sumaria News.
In the photo, there are a vaguely coffin topped by a portrait of Saddam Hussein, amid a big room, surrounded by pots of flowers. The grave is located in the village of Al Aouj, hometown of former Iraqi president, 10 kilometers south of Tikrit.
The tomb guards have allowed one photographer to enter, in memory of the fall of the rais, April 9, 2003.
Saddam Hussein was hanged Dec. 30, 2006 in Baghdad for crimes against humanity. Images of his hanging pirates had then gone around the net.
