IRAN: Commander of the Army's Ground Forces Brigadier-General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said in Tehran that on the April 18, marking the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Day, Iran's Army will put on display its latest achievements in defense and military fields.

The Iranian Army's Ground Forces is scheduled to conduct two major drills this year Pourdastan says.

Defense analysts and military observers say that Iran's wargames and its advancements in weapons production have proved as a prevention factor, especially at a time of discriminating threats by the US.
