Depressing Opening of Season For TBRays

We have looked forward to the beginning of baseball season for a few months now. However, our home team is in the bottom of the pile right now. Today the Rays on on their sixth game, and they are 0-5 right now. Todays game is not going any better. At the top of the 3rd, in a game against the Chicago White Sox, we are already 2 runs down. The game has got to pick up.

We have even contemplated not watching the games on television to see if it would help any at all.

I don't know what is wrong with these boys this year. Maybe it is just cause they did so well last year that this will be their off year. It seems that every other year they manage to make it to the finals. However, they could still turn this season around if they could just have one good game.

I think the best thing that has happen so far this season is, the Baltimore finally lost a game. Now if the Yankees could just start losing. We all know that Boston is not doing that well, so let's see what gives in the remainder of this week and next.

The TBRays have no days off for about two weeks now. Maybe by the end of that, it will turn around.

But for now, we just sit and wait and watch as the Rays go straight down. I am not giving up on my team though. I have come this far, and I will not quit on them.

Go Rays.
