Cannibal Corpse I Cum Blood Live At Wacken 2007

When the body of a newly-deceased woman went missing from her grave in the city of Sargodha, there was suspicion and alarm all around the place. There was little preparation for what the family and the police witnessed next. In fact, hardly anybody in the world could have been even mildly prepared for what came next. The body of the woman was found in the house of two brothers who were making a disgusting meal out of it. One of the legs of the body was missing and cooking with spices in a pot. The brothers, Arif Ali and Farman Ali, are small landowners in the village of Darya Khan which lies right next to Dera Ismail Khan, on the cusp of provinces Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.

The brothers were arrested by the police but the idea of eating corpses still baffles the mind. Where did these cannibal traits come from? How long has it been going on? Are the brothers a threat to living people too? All these questions need serious answers but the brothers were not much of a help when it came to investigation. The two brothers live in seclusion with their sister and the neighbors never found anything suspicious happening in the locality.

The sister is said to be unstable but Arif Ali and Farman Ali were found to be in excellent physical and mental condition. The family also admitted to feasting on dogs before turning to human meat. The brothers did not express any remorse or guilt over the matter; in fact, they were not even aware that the practice was something morbid and immoral.

The woman whose body went missing from her grave was 24-years old when she died - of cancer. The remains of the body were recovered from the house of the two brothers. Parts of her body were cooking in the pot when the police raided the house of the Ali brothers. According to the inspector of the area, the brothers have been charged with an anti-terrorism act. This is the first-of-its-kind case to have happened in Pakistan.
