Guinness World Records on longest surf ride

PANAMA CITY: Panama's Gary Saavedr entered the Guinness Book of World Records by surfing a wave created by a boat moving for three hours and fifty five minutes in 41.3-miles.

The 13-time national surfing champion set World Records for longest time and distance surfed on open water. The previous Guinness world record achieved by Steve King, from the UK, he made a record one hour and six minute surfed ride on a river bore.

Gary Saavedra is the best surfer in the history of Panama.
