Japanese Earthquake & Tsunami - 2011 - A Requiem!

There are allegations, cracks along 30 centimeters in the pool of radioactive liquid concrete reservoir at Fukushima reactor number two cause of radiation in the sea around the nuclear power plant ( NPP ) is. According to AP and AFP news on Saturday ( 02/04/2011 ), manager of Fukushima, Tepco, told this.

However Hidehiko Nishiyama, Deputy Head of Industrial and Nuclear Safety Agency of Japan, said the conclusion of radioactive contamination source is yet to be tested again. " We can not absolutely sure until the results are studied, " he said while being prepared attempt to close the cracks with concrete running.

The announcement comes after Prime Minister Naoto Kan for the first time to visit the earthquake and tsunami disaster area and spoke to refugees near the village of Rikuzentakata, which was almost flat by the tsunami waves on 11 March. " This will be a long struggle, but the government will work hard with you until the end. I hope that others also work hard, " said Prime Minister Kan at a refugee who lived in a school that has been transformed into a refuge.

Although the tsunami was fitted with retaining walls, Rikuzentaka almost razed to the ground and is now filled rubble and mud. Meanwhile, nearly all 23,000 residents, according to news agency Reuters, were killed or injured by the disaster.

" A resident who originally lived in a house near the beach asked me where I have to stay after this?, " so I told him and promising support to the government will provide assistance until the end, " said Prime Minister Kan told reporters.

Since before the disaster occurred, the position of Prime Minister Kan was deemed unpopular and even under pressure to resign or hold early elections. Now PM Kan criticized for his handling of the humanitarian disaster and the nuclear crisis
