Datin Hih Adin Othman the Cultural, Youth and Sports Deputy Miniser and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pg Hi Bahrom of Brunei have launched a 45 days unique fund raising programme for the victims of earthquakes, Tsunami in Autralia, New Zealand and Japan. Both Ministers have initially contributed $ 20 initially through short message services “SMS Brunei Prihatin” through DTS communications and B-Mobile respectively, according to Brunei Times.

The SMS campaign will end on 14, May. The persons who wish to send donations to Australian and New Zealand victims may send SMS to BANTU in the denominations of $ 1, $5, $10, $15, $20. If a person wants to donate $10 he must type BANTU10 and send the same to 381111 for DST Communications, and should use WAP portal if it is for B-mobile services.

The people who wish to send donations to Tsunami and quake victims of Japan they must type DERMA in the denominations of $ 1, $5, $10, $15, $20. If a person wants to send $5 he must type DERMA5 to 381111 for DST Communications, and should use WAP portal if it is for B-mobile services.
