It was discovered a documentation of early Christianity. This documentation consists of 70 lead codices dating from the 1st century CE, which may include key clues to the last days of Jesus' life, British archaeologists says. This could be the most important document for the Christian archeology since the Dead Sea scrolls in 1947.
Five years ago those codices appeared in a cave situated in Jordan. It is supposed to be a place where the Christian believers have fled after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE. The codices have the size of a credit card, containing images and textual allusions to the Messiah. More exactly, they are documents about crucifixion and resurrection and references about Book of Revelation . Some of the codices were sealed. Metallurgical research indicates that the codices are about 2,000 years old.
