Elizabeth Taylor, who recently passed at 79 years of age, became a bride eight times was, 17 years old when she wrote letters on a pale pink stationery. The letters was for her first fiance, William Pawley on May 6, 1949.
One of the letters stated, "I've never know this kind of love before. It's so perfect and complete and mature. I've never loved anyone in my life before, one third as much as I love you and I never will love anyone else."
Taylor was engaged to Pawley in 1949. There are 60 or more letters she wrote dated between March and October on the same year that will be auctioned. These letters were written by Liz for William before their marriage. In May of this year, the letters will be up for auction by RR Auctions of Amherst in New Hampshire. This auction group had bought the letters from Pawley who now lives in Florida.
