Video Of Libyan Fighter Jet Shot Down And Crashing in Benghazi

U.S Military Spokesman confirms reports of a US warplane crashing in Libya.

The F-15 was deployed over Libya on the third night of allied air strikes against Gaddafi’s forces. The cause of the crash is unclear. The spokesman said that both member of the flight crew were extracted safely.

The rebel forces assisted the crashed pilots rescue. The exact location where this incident happened, how the extraction of pilots happened are not being revealed by the U.S Defence dept.

Both crew men suffered minor injuries as they had ejected from the Jet before it crashed. The Jet is said to have crashed due to a mechanical pump failure.
