BEIJING - An eleven months old Tibetan mastiff recently going through life as the most expensive dog in the world. A wealthy Chinese industrial put up a small drop to 1.2 million euros from now with "Big Splash" on the line to walk. The breeder was obviously believe his luck.

"When I was ten years ago got in this business, I never expected that such large amounts were involved," said Lu Liang, manager of the Tibetan Mastiff Garden in Laoshan. "But Big Splash is worth," he quickly added. "We have a lot of money and time itself stopped."

Stud fees

The Tibetan Mastiff is an ancient breed of large dogs. Chinese believe that dog owners bless them with health and safety. Big Splash has now weighs 80 kilograms and can easily reach 130 kilograms when he is fully grown.

With a multi-millionaire owner if he will not starve. Moreover, the breeder firmly believe that Big Splash's investment in a short time can recover. "The stud fee for such copies may soon reach $ 15,000 per turn."
