An anti-government demonstrator in Tahrir Square

In Bahrain, security forces have cleared anti-government demonstrators from the main Square in the capital two days after the government allowed Saudi forces to enter the country.

Military vehicles including tanks were used to break through barricades set up by the demonstrators. At least two protestors were killed on Wednesday and dozens wounded.
