Science Curriculum for Tibetan Monks 4: Q&A with the Dalai Lama

DHARAMSALA: The former Tibetan leader Dalai Lama in a speech announced his future plan that he was preparing to step down as a political leader. Lama said, I have always stressed that Tibetans need a freely elected leader, to whom I can entrust power. He said that this is the right time to take step in this regard. Dalai Lama remains Tibet's spiritual leader while he has long seen himself as "semi-retired" from political leadership with an elected prime minister.
