Manila (Philippines) - Philippine Military Academy's (PMA) Air Warfare Department Head LTC Ferdinand Macasaet was shot dead at 5 PM in Brgy. Kias in Baguio. The lone killer and his motives are still being investigated.

LTC Macasaet, a 43 yr-old Air Force officer, was shot by a mask-wearing gunman while the officer was driving his Mitsubishi Montero inside Pinesville Subdivision.

The subdivision is located outside the PMA in Fort del Pilar.

Chief Supt. Villamor Bumanglag, Cordillera police director, said Macasaet died while being taken to the PMA Station Hospital.
