Over 300 items on Craigslist today were posted by a lovely 79 year old grandmother named Rose from Washington, USA. In the past, Rose owned a consignment shop called “Grannie ’n Friends,” but now the savvy business woman barters from her living room, dining room, family room, garage, and a mobile home out back. She is still recouping her yard sale investments after years of being a self-proclaimed entrepreneur.
Due to the lack of seating space in Rose's house, initially you might think she is a hoarder but first impressions are not always correct. Hoarders do not like to sell, give, or get rid of anything. Rose, on the other hand, is an advertising guru who loves to make a deal.
Every room, or should I say building, is neatly organized and while taking the tour, it is apparent Rose knows exactly where everything is located. Throughout the day, she checks her email and makes contact with prospective buyers. She claims to have shipped things to Maine, Montana, California, and Portland.
Hoarder or Entrepreneur? I don’t even thinkwould say, “You’re fired,” to this warm, entertaining, slick saleswoman. Rose’s next project, a website entitled: “How to buy at yard sales for retail.” This visionary senior citizen, in my opinion, is definitely an entrepreneur.
Donald, if you’d like to hire, I mean correspond with Rose her email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
