The South African economy is currently volatile and with the rise in the diesel and petrol prizes this coming Wednesday, motorists would have to work much more carefully with their budgets. As it would not only be the fuel prizes where a raise would be seen but prizes on basic groceries would also rise.

The state of not only the South African Economy but World Economy could not only be linked to the uproars and demonstrations in the Arabic states as they have an impact on the Economy as large producers of oil. But also political unrests in North Africa (Lybia and Egipt) as safe access to the Suez Canal can be jeopardised.

Various Economists has got various meanings as to what is going to happen in the South African Economy up until the demonstrations in the Arabic states comes to an end.
