World Cup tour begins with President's greetings - 8-1-2011

The Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa has banned a local world cup song because it had derogatory lyrics about the Kangaroos and Kiwis.

In Sri Lanka, a local band composed a song in their local Tamil and Sri Lankan language in support of their cricket team in the World Cup. The lyrics of the songs had a few derogatory statements which would have hurt the feeling of the Australian and New Zealand cricket team.
