Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island was hit once again with a big earthquake at 6.3-magnitude, seriously damaging buildings and injuring people.
According to Guardian UK, Radio New Zealand reported that a church near the city centre collapsed. The station also said staffers in its Christchurch newsroom had to cling to their desks during the shaking, with large filing cabinets toppling over.

According to AFP news, mutiple deaths were reported in the toppled buildings which ignite fires in some areas after the big tremor struck at lunch time.
Christchurch is a city of South Island New Zealand with around 340,000 residents has been hit by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck on September in 2010, causing extensive damage.
