Iranian film wins best movie honor at Berlin film festival

Goldener Bär Filmfestival Berlin 2011

An Iranian movie " Nader and Simin, A separation" (Jodaeiye Nadar Az Simin), won the Golden Bear award for Best Film Award at the 61st Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin on Saturday.

The leading characters of the film, Peyman Moadi and Leila Hatami, also get the best actor and the best actress awards.

A six-member jury led by actress Isabella Rossellini handed the movie the top Golden Bear Award to the Iranian film director Asghar Farhadi.

The film centers a clash between traditional and modern living, thinking and class differences.
