On Wednesday night in Florida, Miguel Cabrera, the Detroit Tigers' first baseman, got arrested on the suspicion of driving while he was drunk and because of misconduct with an officer.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's office, the Major League Baseball first baseman for the Detroit Tigers, Miguel Cabrera’s car was seen in Fort Pierce with a smoking engine. When the deputy reached the car, he smelled alcohol and heard Cabrera talk inaudibly. Cabrera also took a mouthful of scotch from a bottle in front of the deputy. Cabrera even created a scene by disagreeing with the cops by not giving a breath test and because of this commotion, more of them had to be called.
Miguel Cabrera was released on Thursday from jail at 7:45 a.m. This is not the first time for Cabrera, who is a native of Venezuela and lives in Miami.
