Climate is the average weather conditions of a region, season by season. Global position, ocean currents and the green house effect are the factors affect the climate. Climatologist said that the climate is changing. Because of this climate change polar caps melt, the temperature increases and droughts are becoming severe. But what causes climate change?

All of us are concerned about this alarming issue. All our body parts have something to do about this climate change. Our body is composed of billions and billions of cells, and we all know that the cell is the basic unit of life this means that individuals are composed of cells. If group of individuals occupy a given area this is what we call population. More population means more carbon dioxide. In order to live man must breathe and it involves our respiratory system. As the man inhale he obtain oxygen that is essential in life if man exhale he emits carbon dioxide a green house gas that contributes to global warming. More population means more food and agriculture needed. Agriculture also contributes to global warming because it releases methane. More population also means that there is also an increase in the use of fridges, air conditioner, aerosols that produces CFC’s.

The increase in the population is caused by reproduction which is essential for the continuity of human life. Because of the big population health is sacrifice. If there are ten and above members of the family, the nutrients they must acquire from the food will be not enough for them. The clean is also sacrificed because of the pollution made by man and it is not also safe for the human to live in the polluted environment.

Population can affect climate change in two ways. First it may contribute to climate change or it may help our environment. We can now see, hear, feel and smell the effects of the climate change, but we can still do something to minimize the effects of the climate change if all people will be doing something to reduce it. We can ride a bicycle or just walk; we can reuse, reduce and recycle materials, switch off appliances when they are not in use, plant a tree and lastly inform other about this.

Changes not happen in an hour or in an overnight it is a long process that needs cooperation of each and everyone concerning about climate change.
