A pee collector earned an equivalent of $600 a day by charging LKR 10 from each visitor to the wash room/toilet, a press report said today.

He had won a tender for the job at the Dambulla Economic Center in Dambulla, off Anuradhapura in the north central province in Sri Lanka. Dambulla is a busy farm produce collecting and distributing center.

The Minister in charge of the Economic Center terminated the contract with immediate effect on hearing ‘the news'.

The collector had fleeced consumers and traders. That could not be allowed, the enraged Minister said accusing the man.
