Mexico: 6 killed in an attack on a nightclub in Guadalajara

An attack on a nightclub in the Mexican city of Guadalajara left six dead and over twenty injured.

Police officials said a group of armed men, who have not been identified, burst into the room and started a gunfight. The attackers, who also threw a hand grenade, escaped after three vehicles.

Security forces believe that this is bar patrons who returned to take revenge after a dispute began before with other clients.

The city of Guadalajara, the second largest in Mexico, has in recent months a huge increase in violence related to drug trafficking.
