In Italy, Owners are Jailed for Their Dog's Incessant Barking

In Italy, if your dog has been keeping the neighbors awake because of its incessant barking, then you could get in jail for it.

Just recently, four people in Sicily were sentenced by a top appeals court to two months of jailtime after they failed to keep their 10 dogs from rousing their neighbors at night.

Aside from jailtime, the four were ordered by the court to pay 500 euros each for court charges and fees.
