At least she wasn't lip-syncing.
Christina Aguilera made a blunder while performing the “Star Spangled Banner” during tonight’s Super Bowl. The talented singer forgot some of the words halfway through the song.
Instead of “O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera sang “what so prodly we watched at the twilight’s last [unintelligable lyric].”
The crowd still supported the star as she nailed the “rocket’s red glare” line though, however a source tells Pop Eater that the singer is “devastated” that she messed up the National Anthem.
As a true professional though, Aguilera finish her performance without missing a single note.
Before her performance, Christina recently said in an interview, "I have been performing the anthem since I was 7 years old and I must say the Super Bowl is a dream come true, I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event."
