Snooki, originally known and Nicole Polizzi stars in the show Jersey Shore.

Last night, the third season of the show was being aired in which Snooki gave her expert opinion as to why the ocean is salty.

The confidence with which Snooki gave the explanation made us all believe that she might actually be a Marine Biologist.

On last night’s snow, Snooki said that the ocean is salty because it has a lot of whales. When the whales mate to reproduce, the fluid containing the sperm is salty; this makes the entire ocean taste salty. And this is also why Snooki hates the ocean, because of its saltiness.

Makes one wonder what sort of school Snooki went to, and what the schools are teaching children nowadays. However, Snooki encouraged everyone to Google this fact and find out for yourself.

What Snooki doesn’t know is that the ocean is salt because it has salt and the sand bedding at the floor of the ocean and the presence of various minerals also contributes towards the saltiness of the ocean.
