The Blacks have come a long way since 1926 and people are currently looking for some Black history facts that are interesting and would add to their knowledge. The Library of Congress named Black History Week as the initiator of the celebration of Black history. This was started by Dr. Carter D. Woodson in 1925 who encouraged people to study Black history facts and recorded them on the forum which he founded, known as the Association of the Study of Negro Life and History.

The Black history facts state that African-American history was formally recognized in the year 1976 when the American president made a declaration that the second month each year would be representing the Black History Week for the African-Americans living in the United States of America. You can find out about some amazing Black history facts on the websites pertaining to their history.
