Local courts have so far refused to release US diplomat Raymond Davis, accused of killing two Pakistanis

US State Department has admitted that Raymond Davis, involved in 2 persons killing in Lahore, is a staff member of US diplomatic office.

Addressing a press conference, State Department official said that Davis was a staff member of technical department of US Consulate adding that some US officials have permitted to keep weapons for their defence. He further said that he would not comment on the incident and wait for court’s decision.
