Cheryl Burke shows off her slim bikini body

As a professional dancer Cheryl Burke has never been anything other than a healthy weight.

And she happily posed for the cameras in her red bikini yesterday as she showed off her toned and trim body.

But the shots come just a few days after Cheryl, of Dancing With The Stars fame, admitted that comments about her weight had 'messed me up'.

The 26-year-old was criticised for being 'fat' when photos were published showing her in a stripy bikini three years ago.

Although already a healthy weight, by 'eating clean' and dancing she has since lost a further 5 to 10lbs.

Cheryl told People magazine: 'I've gotten over being shorter and curvier than the other dancers. I've got to embrace my body.'

It seemed she was doing just that as she soaked up the Caribbean sun in the Dominican Republic yesterday.
