The ESPN Achor we all know, Stuart Scott, has been diagnosed a second time with cancer. The sports announcer, 45, battled cancer after an emergency appendectomy fours years ago when the doctors found cancer tissue. Scott is confident in his battle and will prevail once again.
In 1993, Scott, joined ESPN and has gradually grown into a well known face in sports arenas. His main job currently is the anchor of Sports Center that airs nightly at 11pm. Mainly seen in the eyes of the NFL he also lends his hand to the NBA as well.
The OrlandoSentinel.com report published a statement from Scott which read,
"There are 28 million cancer survivors worldwide, you know what that means?..we've got a strong army!! Once again, I join the fight and like 3 years ago, I plan to beat this thing. Can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone's well wishes and support. I'll be back at work soon probably sooner than you think. I am blessed to have the invaluable support of a great team of doctors..my loving family, genuine friends, and my ESPN family."
