TWO GERMAN TRAINS COLLIDED,,, 10 DEAD AND 33 INJURED

The regional passenger train carrying 66 people collided with the derailed wagon of a freight train

Two German trains collided near in the city of Magdeburg leaving 10 dead and 33 injured. A passenger train and train for goods both travelling on a single track heading to state of Saxony-Anhalt.

"Rescue operations are still ongoing. The death toll may well rise further," said by the regional police Frank Kuessner. About 150 rescuers, policeman and fireman rush to the scene.

HazelbeExpress train capacity is about 100 passengers but that time 45 were on board when the crash happened.
