The real facts of the life of inspiring actress Geri Jewell has been revealed by herself in her new memoir. In the new book of Geri Jewell with cerebral palsy, the actress has come out of the closet admitting that she is gay.

Geri Jewell is best known for her role of Blair's cousin, Geri, on the popular 1980s' comedy series "The Fact of Life". The talented Geri Jewell is different from others, as she was the first person with a disability to regularly appear on a television program.

The memoir of Geri Jewell titled "I'm Walking As Straight As I Can: Transcending Disability in Hollywood and Beyond" is all set to hit the shelves this spring.

The new book of Geri Jewell is filled with the stories of her twisting life from early years in Buffalo, New York, to a stand-up comedian's career, "The Facts of Life" and HBO series "Deadwood", along with her sexuality and difficulties of growing up with a disability.
