Long Wall

A 200-year-old and 79-mile long wall have been uncovered by Dr. Andrew Hardy and his team after five years research about a reference they found about the “Long Wall of Quang Ngai, a 19th century Vietnamese documents.

It was believed to be longest monument in Southeast Asia . Its scale is smaller than the Great Wall of China with 13-feet high in places but a great engineering feat of the Nguyen Dynasty.

It was built in the 1819 along the a pre-existed road to be used to regulate trade and travel between the Hre-tribes in the mountain valleys and the Viet people in the plains and studded with more than 50 ancient forts.

They call it the Long Wall. Local officials are hoping that their Long Wall to become a tourist attraction.
