Musician Elton John

This is a picture of the great pop singer Elton John and his partner David Furnish with their child, Zachary. Wait, you can't see little Zac because the cover was censored by at least one supermarket in Arkansas at its' checkout line. See, a few of the local residents believe that two men who love each other and are raising a child, is a threat to them and their families and so they didn't want to see such a couple. They didn't want their kids, and probably the kids of others, to know that such people exist. The right-wing over uses the cliche of political correctness, but if censoring images that one doesn't like is not political correctness, than what is exactly?

This reminds me of nations such as Saudi Arabia forcing women in veils because of the fears of a woman's bare arm. This store obviously had the right to censor a cover if they so wish, within their store. Ironically though, they still seek to profit from the selling of it. I don't agree with the bible and I don't believe in the tales within it, but I do not seek to have stores cover them up. I do not ask stores to cover up biblical themed books meant for children. Imagine if this was a cover of Heidi Klum and Seal covered up? After all, many people still think interracial couples are wrong. But, it is still O.K. to despise gays for who they are, and to make them disappear in a sense, to "protect" families. Gay couples, just like interracial couples before them, were despised and stated as a threat to America and the American family.
