UN Secretary General welcome inauguration of new Afghan Parliament

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has welcomed the inauguration of new Afghan parliament.

In a statement in New York, he said that this is the beginning of a new period in Afghan history.

The British government has also welcomed the inauguration of Afghan parliament and pledged to support the Afghan institutions.
