There was a methane gas explosion in a mine in which four miners were killed and 13 were trapped on wednesday in Colombia. There was another incident which happened in October last year in the very same mine in which six people were killed.

4 miners lost their lives and thirteen were trapped just after an explosion in a coal mine in the northeastern part of Colombia, Later it was announced by the Mayor Rangel that six more persons caught injuries and were taken care of in hospital.

It was the same person who has earlier announced that 30 were trapped in the mine.

The cause of explosion was an accumulation of methane gas.
