I'm so proud of my congressman -. He really cares about the middle class in his district. He knows that medical insurance has been a problem for us. He is working hard to cut the deficit. What a guy.
Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick voted to repeal what his party keeps incorrectly calling "ObamaCare". He wants to replace it with some sort of insurance exchange that sounds confusing and stupid and probably is nothing more than what's idea was for solving rising insurance costs. He was going to send a $1,000.00 voucher- not to you- but to your insurance company. He must not have trusted us with that kind of money. We would go waste it on things like food and gas for the car. It was a dumb idea. The GOP really doesn't have any ideas to improve health care, but they don't want to keep the few improvements that have already happened.
Before "ObamaCare", insurance companies could turn down people due to their health and deny pre-existing conditions. Is that what you want, America? You want that repealed? Well, Mike Fitzpatrick does.
In the last few years, insurance companies quietly changed health insurance coverage from unlimited to a lifetime limit averaging around Two million dollars. If you had a long hospital stay with a serious illness, most likely your insurance would run out and then you were on your own. Sell your house, and empty your bank accounts because insurance companies making record profits don't want to pay for sick people. Again, Mike Fitzpatrick thought this was a great idea.
This week, the democrats wanted the GOP to put their money where their mouth is. If we repealed ObamaCare, our law makers would also stop getting their wonderful insurance from the government. Mike Fitzpatrick & his GOP buddies did not like that idea one little bit.
Now, faced with a problem of giving tax breaks to wealthy people that didn't need them, the GOP also promised to cut spending. Their ideas for that all seem to be having the middle class pay for the rich having a tax cut. Does this make any kind of sense to you?
I just want to send a little message to Mike Fitzpatrick. Don't bother unpacking and getting too cozy in your Washington office. After 2012, if you are in Washington it will be as a tourist.
Mike Fitzpatrick & the GOP have put on a display that makes our country look like a joke. Well, health coverage is no joke. The American people do not want health care repealed. They want the Public Option put back into the reform bill. We want the reform, not your repeal.
Social Security also needs to be raised. Get the money from the wealthy who need to start paying their fair share.
Health care is not an issue, if you or your family does not need it. But, if they do, the "free markets" and "let the insurance companies decide" would leave you broke. Then, you probably would not like the repeal of ObamaCare.
We the people demand better health care and no repeal of HCR. We also do not want any cuts in Social Security or medicare. This is not hand-outs. We paid into this. We were promised by the government. You don't weasel out of this.
The GOP should have never told the Tea Party they could do something that they could not do. You can't lower taxes on rich people and borrow money from China to do it. You also can't chop away the money from people who REALLY need it.
I did not vote for Mike Fitzpatrick. He is not a family values person because if he was, he would not be trying to do things to hurt families. We have had children die, Mr. Fitzpatrick, because of insurance "death panels". They don't like sick people. They just want to make money. That's the American way, but its not the American Way to let people die because they can't afford treatment, or be turned down for treatment because the insurance company thinks it costs too much money.
The GOP has lied to the elderly, and disabled. These people need the most help, and Mike Fitzpatrick & his gang of bums want to take more money away from them and let them die because they can't afford their medicine.
How do you look yourself in the mirror everyday, Mr. Fitzpatrick? If you think I would not say this to your face, then take me up on that. I NEVER say anything that I would not say to that person's face.
We will re-elect. For now, just behave yourself and stop trying to steal from the poor and give to the rich. You need to be put back into retirement. You are doing the same things that made you lose the last time. We are paying much more attention to your votes this time, Mr. Fitzpatrick.
If it is easier for you, I will debate you on WBCB during the "Speak your piece" show. Give me a day you want to do it, and we will get it done.
