Italian shoe tycoon, Diego Della Valle, says he is ready to invest 25 million euros to restore the ancient Colosseum

According to some reports the ancient Roman arena Colosseum will be restored by the Diego Della Valle The founder of Tod's luxury leather goods and shoes, he announced it officially through press conference on Friday that he is ready to spend $34 million to refurbish the Roman arena. He said other entrepreneurs should also be the part of the project.

Colosseum, which is not only unique in its construction but also mystery for the modern infrastructure developments. This arena has been turned black and becoming blur due to the heavy pollutions and vibrations of passing of nearby subway line. We must try to preserve the cultural treasures he said.

Della Valle said that "A monument that represents Italy in the world must be restored, and a company that represents made in Italy stepped forward to say, 'If you need us, we are here,'"

He said work at Colosseum will be started at the end of this year, supposed to be completed till two years but the monument will remain open for the tourists during the working.
