Putin's Palace

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is constructing a $ 1 billion castle in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, paid for with money donated by Russian businessmen, Vedomosti said, quoting Sergey Kolesnikov, a St. Petersburg entrepreneur.

Kolesnikov last week directed an open letter to President Dmitry Medvedev naming him to research the affair, Vedomosti told.

Putins spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, dropped the report attributing the place to Putin, in respect to Vedomosti.

RuLeaks, a Russian version of Wikileaks, was reportedly removed by advanced cyber warriors on Wednesday, turning it into inaccesible to its Russian subscribers. RuLeaks is not portion of the Wikileaks project headed up by Julian Assange, but was set in motion a month ago with the initative of Russian whistle blowers who settled to uncover political corruptness in Russia in wikileaks-style. It was about a month ago when an nameless Kremlin official reportedly stated that Julian Assange was a hero and in some cases merited a Nobel Prize. The official will probably have altered his intellect, or have a dissimilar opinion of those whistleblowers who, in place of taking on the U.S., uncover corruption in the eminent echelons of Russian government.
