This is not the first time that Neetu Chandra has been bold in front of public. Quite recently she was quoted by Delhi Times- "I am ready to go nude to act in a movie." In another occasion, Neetu Chandra had been shot posing with another bikini clad model on Mumbai's Juhu Beach for "The Man"- a leading men's magazine. The photo shoot was met with vehement protests by locals and Raj Thackarey's MNS activists on charges of promoting lesbianism- much against Indian culture and traditions. Whether protests come or legal suits are filed for Neetu Chandra's panty show- only time will tell.
Neetu Chandra was born in Patna, Bihar, on June 20, 1984 in India. A resident of Patliputra Colony, Neetu did her schooling from the Academy, Patna, and dreamt of entering the modelling world. Neetu’s father, a businessman, was initially reluctant to let her pursue a career in showbiz but her mother, Neera, stood by her. Not surprisingly, Neetu attributes her success to her mother, a native of East Champaran in Bihar. She has done dozens of ads and videos for reputed firms since her graduation days in Delhi’s IP College, University of Delhi.
Before entering the Hindi film Industry, Neetu was an avid sportsperson. She is a black belt holder in Taekwondo. She has represented India in two different games. She has represented India in International Taekwondo Championship at Hong Kong in 1996 and represented India in World Championship in 1995 at New Delhi. This would be remarkable feat even for this little known sport. It is unclear that she would meet the basic requirements to be selected by the Indian korfball federation. Also, this would also mean that she finished her high school (2000) at the young tender age of 16.
She is a national games Silver Medal winner in Taek-won-do. After completing her basic education, she started her work with small print ad campaigns in Delhi. But her hard work and perseverence took her to the Hindi film Industry.
