The earthquake of 7.4 magnitude on the Richter scale jolted southwestern Pakistan, in an area near the border with Afghanistan and Iran, no casualties or damage, According to the source, the damage was minimal because the epicenter was located far from major urban centers of population.The earthquake, which was registered at 01.23 local time on Wednesday (20.23 GMT Tuesday) at a depth of 84 km, was felt in several cities across the country, UAE and India, where the quake caused cracks in some homes in the Indian province of Rajasthan border .

The epicenter was 263 kilometers west of Kalat, 301 kilometers southeast of Zahedan (Iran) and 793 miles northeast of Muscat, Oman,The region is prone to earthquakes and recovers even the great earthquake of 7.6 degrees on 8 October 2005 caused 80,000 people in northwestern Pakistan and Kashmir and more than 3 million homeless.
