7.4 Magnitude Earthquake in Pakistan at 1:23 am local time was felt for 30 seconds in Baluchistan, Karachi and surrounding areas with its epicenter in Kharan. Pakistan and Us geological Surveys have confirmed this.

Location 28.782N 64.048E Depth 10 km Kharan 47 km (29 miles) WSW (249 degrees) of Dalbandin, Pakistan , about 640 miles west of Islamabad, the capital.

The main area is very remote and sparsley populated. So far only reports of injuries are from roof collapse in Dalbandin. Due to a very short duration of tremors further damage is not expected. But after aftershocks are expected as the area has several active fault lines.

This earthquake was so strong that jolts were felt as far as Dubai in UAE and Delhi in India.
