Carnapping is a very common crime everywhere. Here in the Philippines car dealers are no longer feeling safe. For this reason they are already carrying guns for protection after their fellow car dealers were brutally killed.
According to a report from TV Patrol World just tonight, Venson Evangelista and Emerson Lozano, son of Atty.Lozano, one of the prominent atty here in the Philippines. The two were car dealers who were brutally killed by a certain carnapping syndicate group that are yet to be identified.
The two were apparently going to meet a car buyer, and after meeting up with them, they were barbarically killed, were burned and were thrown away in a separate place. The cars which was used during the test drives were no where to be found.
Venson Evangelista, was a 30 year old car dealer whose burned body was identified by his brother and his father just this morning and was found at the Province of Nueva Ecija. He was last seen January 13, 2011 and after he had been missing for five days, he was already found by his family.
With this reasons, car dealers are now planning to put up CCTV camera's on their shops and have advised there sales person not to meet up with a possible buyer in an unknown place, they have also forbidden test drives, in order to prevent things like this to happen.
Police authorities have already released a cartographic sketch on the suspects of the one who killed Evangelista and had continued investegitation regarding the case and they are now trying to figure out if the case of Lozano and the case of Evangelista are all the same. They have also advised the car dealers to be extra careful.
