Around 200 dead cows were found in the farm of Stockton, Wisconsin on Friday. The Portage County sheriff's office says the owner of the cattle has been working with a local veterinarian and it's believed the animals died from the IBR/BVD virus. The virus can cause respiratory and reproductive problems, according to MSNBC.
But, if th cause of is the IBR/BVD virus, the dying of 200 cows at the same time would be strange. Don't you think if it was a virus they would be dying at different times? Or did they all get the virus at the same exact time and progress in sickness equally?
According to WDailyHerald IBR/BDV is an acute, contagious virus of cattle that usually occurs in the air passages of the cow's head or its windpipe. Sample of the dead cow animals are now being sent to for testing. The investigation is being handled by the Portage County Humane Society or the local veterinarian but there are no statement available regarding the cause of the 200 dead cow incident.
Although the Portage County's Department said there is no threat to humans or other animals.
This strange 200 dead cow hapening is in the wake of numerous dead birds and fishes that were being reported around the world.
